163 GRADUATE FROM CARIBBEAN MARITIME INSTITUTE

 Some 163 students graduated from the Caribbean Maritime Institute (CMI) on November 11 at their graduation ceremony which was held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. Amidst music provided by the Alpha Boys’ Band, the graduating class marched to their seats followed by the singing of the National Anthem. [more]

PAJ SIGNS CRUISE CONTRACT WITH ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE

A contract in the amount of US$122M was signed between the Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Jamaica Pegasus HotelThe Contract is expected to see Royal Caribbean guaranteeing 400,000 visits to over the next twenty years.  [more]
